Queen Margot 8-year-old

Lidl’s whisky, an 8-year-old blend, is produced by Whyte & Mackay under Richard Paterson. Lately, the blend has regularly brought back home medals in blind tasting competitions, standing its ground against similar whiskies in its class. Lidl offers a 3-year-old version as well.

NOSE:

Fruits, mostly banana and orange, and honey.

PALATE:

Fruits and honey, a touch of vanilla and a tiny bit of burnt wood.

FINISH:

Woody dryness, syrup and orange.
