This whiskey is crafted from a palette of Highland, Lowland, Speyside and Island malts that mature for a minimum of fifteen years. Johnnie Walker Black Label
Johnnie has a distinct place in the world of whiskies. It has a tremendous value for money, a true icon for Johnnie Walker. Using whiskies aged for a minimum of 12 years has given it a smooth, recognizable character. Ideal to share with friends. In the nose, you might get a sweet vanilla, but theContinue reading “Johnnie Walker Black Label”
Johnnie Walker Red Label
Johnnie Red… Ah, the whisky of my youth, the first whisky I ever tried. I felt so cool ordering it in pubs and clubs! But, let us walk away from memory lane to the drink itself. Johnnie red is the pioneer blend, the one that made Johnnie Walker famous. To the best of my knowledgeContinue reading “Johnnie Walker Red Label”
The Peat Monster by Compass Box
A peated blended whisky from the beloved Compass Box. This is not the peatiest or smokiest whisky you can find, not at all. Its value is the blending of kipper-like smokiness, fruity sweetness and spices. It is also non-chill filtered. My love for peatiness is well-known and this is in my top5, I recommend itContinue reading “The Peat Monster by Compass Box”
Hedonism by Compassbox
Silky smooth whiskey with a tiny bit of bourbon creaminess. There is vanilla in the nose, liquor elements, even strawberry. The palate has a bit of pistachio, toffee and cocoa. The finish is peppery and rather smoky. A whisky definitely worth it’s money and a great entry to the whisky world for anyone interested. Moreover,Continue reading “Hedonism by Compassbox”

Grant’s triple reserve
American oak, virgin oak and refill bourbon are the three woods. Grant’s triple wood is a whisky, that is truly worth it’s price. Honey and candied orange, a touch of dried chili and apricots, aniseed and barley notes comprise this whisky, previously labelled as Family Reserve. Slightly smoky at the end but quite smooth overall.Continue reading “Grant’s triple reserve”
Bell’s Original
